Thomas Schneider
Chairman - BREC

Mr. Schneider is the Chairman of BREC and a founding Director. Prior to launching BREC, he launched Schneider Power Inc. in 2004. Prior to this Thomas was founder and Chief Executive Officer of Line Entertainment Holdings Inc., a Canadian owned and operated marketing and media consulting firm that catered to clients such as Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Group, Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and L.V.M.H.

With a background in finance and physics Thomas has extensive technical and renewable project development experience. Prior to founding Schneider Power he owned a minority share in one of Germany's largest wind farms. Mr. Schneider is a member of the Ontario Caucus of the Canadian Wind Energy Association and represents Canadian business at the United Nations Global Compact.

Thomas holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and International Business from McGill University, Montreal, as well as a certificate in Business Law from the University of Toronto. He holds advanced level certificates in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from the University of London, England and the IGCSE from University of Cambridge, England. His work has garnered several awards including, the prestigious 2001 Golden Web Award for best Web Design, the 2000 Canadian Marketing Award, the 1999 Summit Award, the 1999 Spirit Award and the 1994 MIS Physics Award. Mr. Schneider is a member of the Dr. David Suzuki Foundation, World Wildlife Fund Canada and a patron of The Yonge Street Mission - Evergreen Project.

Vincent MacDonald 
Chief Executive Officer & President

Vincent MacDonald leads the Bahamas Renewable Energy Company Ltd. in his capacity as President. He brings twenty-four years of business experience, including years of experience in the securities area to this position.

Mr. MacDonald began his business career upon a solid foundation of education with degrees from St. Benedict College, the University of Miami and the McHari Institute.

He currently holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, a Master's Degree in International Trust Law & Administration and has successfully completed The Renewable Energy 101 course of study in Toronto, Canada. Mr. MacDonald is a founding member of Winso Company Limited which was formed to provide solutions to the varied energy issues faced by the people of the Bahamas.

Both his education and his natural acumen have served him well in his business accomplishments which include being President of KBMP Communications Network, Co-Founder and Vice President of Solaris Global Partners (Bahamas), President of Curl's Group of Companies, President of Global Property Management and President of Reliable Builders & Construction Company.

A passion for public service and speaking has given Mr. MacDonald many hours of joy through his involvement with The Gavel Club, Junior Achievement, Golden Gates Assembly and Toastmasters.

Kevin Ingraham 
Vice President, Finance - BREC

Kevin Ingraham serves as the Vice President Corporate Finance, Finance of Bahamas Renewable Energy Corporation.  His professional background includes Sales & Marketing, Currency Trading and Banking.

Mr. Ingraham began his studies in Banking and Finance and worked with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce where he gained a solid background in Banking by having had the opportunity to be trained in all departments of the Bank.

His inclination toward quality service and an entrepreneurial spirit took him into private enterprise where he sold specialty items and travelled extensively seeking new prospective business opportunities.  It was the experiences in these years which lay further foundation for the rest of his still incomplete journey.

Recently, Mr. Ingraham was employed as a Sales Executive with a hotel condominium resort In the Bahamas where he specialized in selling the exclusive condominiums to high net worth clients. Previous to this, Mr. Ingraham worked as a Senior Currency Trader in Nassau, Bahamas and Costa Rica, Central America.

Mr. Ingraham is a Founding Partner of Winso Limited which is a company formed to address the energy concerns of the Bahamas.  Mr. Ingraham is the President, Finance of BREC and also serves as Managing Director of Bahamas International Trade Associates.  He holds a Master's Degree in International Trust Law and Administration and has completed The Renewable Energy 101 Course of study in Toronto, Canada.  Mr. Ingraham is currently pursuing the Series 7 qualification and he is fluent in Spanish.
